Lost in the concern over Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel and cornerback Brandon Flowers is that receiver Devard Darling -- currently listed as a starter on the team's depth chart -- might be gone for the year.
Per a league source, Darling "likely" suffered a torn ACL on Saturday night against the Seahawks.
Darling left the game in the first half, due to the injury.
He appeared in 16 games last year, starting nine of them.
Mark Bradley, Amani Toomer, or Dwayne Bowe would replace Darling as the starter across from Terrance Copper.
Again, the diagnosis is not final. But at this point all indications point to reconstructive surgery and a season of rehabilitation.

Wendy: Stay away from me!
Jack: Wendy?! DARLING?! Light of my life! I'm not gonna hurt ya. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm just going to bash your brains in!

Well, Bowe actually started last night (not Copper). As did Tyson Jackson (not Boone, as the chart said). Who to believe? The games (that we don't watch), or the readily available depth chart links?
I think Florio just set a record for most consecutive posts about the Cheifs
