Fractured thumb for Jabar Gaffney

The Broncos already are thin at receiver, thanks to the suspension of receiver Brandon Marshall.

They’ve also lost another wideout, thanks to an injury.

Jabar Gaffney suffered a broken thumb at practice on Friday, according to Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post.

Gaffney, who signed with Denver after spending time with coach Josh McDaniels as a member of the Patriots, is expected to miss several weeks.

I feel bad for Gaffney. He played very well for the Pats and made a lot of clutch catches. Was sorry to see him go but happy he went to the Donks where McDaniels would still be coaching him.

Maybe the broncos will try and go after hank baskett or reggie brown of the eagles
