After routing the Raiders 45-7, Saints LB Jonathan Vilma tried to ratchet down any outsized expectations caused by the game.
Said Saints TE Jeremy Shockey, “It looked good on the scoreboard but let’s look at it in the film

Lynell Hamilton ran for 95 yards on 16 carries as the Saints keep plugging in running backs and getting results.
Saints WR Lance Moore showed no ill effects from a shoulder injury during his first action of the preseason.
Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams called more blitzes on Saturday, and the Saints responded by wreaking havoc on the Raiders.

Although it was termed a big opportunity for him, Raiders RB Michael Bush only got one carry before being replaced by Darren McFadden.
The Raiders committed 10 penalties for 89 yards to confirm that there was nothing they did well on Saturday.

It blows me away that you can determine my feelings about our beloved Raiders by my critical opinion of the person who wrote this comment. God forbid I point out how unprofessional it was to add the barb he did against our teams coach. I don’t disagree with anything you said. Our Raiders have yet to prove they are who we wish them to be. Again, I do disagree with your ripping on our fellow fans. You have a right to your opinion, but if you can’t see my point, then your bias is getting in the way. My post has nothing to do with the Raiders. It just so happens that this person was reporting on them. My post is to point out that there is a certain responsibility that comes with sports reporting, and personal bias is unprofessional. Put the team aside and use your brain for a moment. Can you not see my point? It takes a person of very low IQ not to realize what I am getting at. Look at what I quoted. There was no need for the personal attack. It was out of line and completely juvenile. If this guy was, or is, payed to write this, he was way out of line. I would take this same stance, even if it wasn’t the Raiders.
