Milloy turns down Lions

Former Patriots and Falcons safety Lawyer Milloy wants back into the NFL, but he’s not willing to play for the Detroit Lions.  At least not for the price they are offering.

According to NFL’s Steve Wyche, Milloy passed a physical with the team Monday, but the two sides couldn’t agree on contract terms.  Unemployed with less than two weeks to go before Week One, Milloy doesn’t exactly have great bargaining power.

A player on the opening week roster’s contract is guaranteed for the rest of the season, but Milloy sounds willing to risk not playing at all.

Is Milloy aware that he’s 800 years old?

Some safety will go down and he will play for $1 million for a season. Can’t see him getting much more that that.

milloy is a moron, although this was established years ago.
i hope he remains unemployed. nothing worse than an over-the-hill player who grossly overestimates their value. are you listening Shaun and Marvin?
