Former Patriots and Falcons safety Lawyer Milloy wants back into the NFL, but he’s not willing to play for the Detroit Lions. At least not for the price they are offering.
According to NFL’s Steve Wyche, Milloy passed a physical with the team Monday, but the two sides couldn’t agree on contract terms. Unemployed with less than two weeks to go before Week One, Milloy doesn’t exactly have great bargaining power.
A player on the opening week roster’s contract is guaranteed for the rest of the season, but Milloy sounds willing to risk not playing at all.

Come home Lawyer, Seattle is waiting.
Is Milloy aware that he’s 800 years old?
Go on take the money and run, geez even Steve Miller knew that, and was high all the time.
And Matt Millen wasn’t around to make this offer?
Some safety will go down and he will play for $1 million for a season. Can’t see him getting much more that that.
Looks like Milloy is pulling a Latrell Sprewell:
