As further evidence that right shoulder smushed under the full weight of Albert Haynesworth isn’t going to be a problem, Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe reports that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady participated in the opening portion of practice on Monday, which was open to the media.
Brady engaged in individual drills and stretching under the unblinking red eye of the assembled media. At one point, Brady handed the ball off with his left hand. He did no throwing of the ball for the benefit of the beat writers.
It’s unknown whether Brady threw the ball after the assembled reporters were politely asked to get the hell out.
Nice try but this hardly makes up for the fact that the Cowboys beat out the Patriots for DeAngelo Willingham.
In related news, Brady will serve as his own wildcat quarterback this season.
The reporters also didn’t see the part of practice where the Patriots work on framing the shot, proper lighting angles, and working a dolly while filming.
That doesn’t mean they don’t work on those things, Florio!
