Even when Palmer was healthy this team still stunk it up. No one fears the Bengals. Even the BROWNS have a leg up on them.

The Bengals have an excellent defensive front 4 rotation and 3 excellent linebackers not counting Rey Malaluga. Then they have two recent first round picks at the corners and very good safeties. The D should be there to keep their O on the field more than at any time in the Marvin era. The question is can that make shift Oline pass block better than last years WORST IN THE NFL Oline?

Watch for Chris Henry to emerge as an elite receiver in the NFL this year. The big question for these Bengals is the O-Line. They have the talent but don’t have the experience as a Unit. The O-Line should hit its stride by the 4th or 5th game once Andre Smith is installed as a starter at RT.

With a motivated Ocho, a well-behaved Chris Henry, newly acquired Laveranues Coles, and a reasonable performance from Cedric Benson, Palmer could easily return to top 5 status. He HAS to stay healthy and get good protection from the O-line, though. Otherwise, he’s get injured again and the Bengals season is done.
