Cletis Gordon era ends in Houston

Eight days ago, cornerback Cletis Gordon was cut by the Chargers.

Today, he was cut by the Texans.

Gordon arrived via waivers, and didn’t have much of a chance to establish himself.  In what time he had, he apparently didn’t do enough to merit closer inspection.

So he’ll hit waivers again, and he’ll be trying to find a new home despite the fact that rosters now stand at 75 per team, and in four days will be chopped to 53.

Also dumped by the Texans were receiver Mike Jones, cornerback David Pittman, and tackle Jason Watkins.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How could this be happening? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Much like Rose when she lost Jack to the frigid, icy waters of the ocean. I must find the strength to carry on and one day find the “Heart of the Ocean” necklace and naked picture Cletis painted of me.(Cue Celine Dion Music.)

David Pittman was a waste & major reach of a 3rd round draft pick by the Ravens. He could never get on the field due to injuries when he was in Baltimore. No one heard of the guy until they drafted him, he played Division 1 AA.
