He is a great Offensive Coordinator and the Lions offense with the weapons it has will be very good under him because he knows what he’s doing when it comes to offense.
P.S. all those players from that draft that suck and aren’t on the team or in the NFL anymore aren’t the Head Coaches fault. In case you don’t know there are people on an NFL team called scouts, and another guy called a General Manager. Those are the people responsible for the 2006 draft disaster not the Head Coach.

As a Rams fan, I hate Scott Linehan and the mess he made of teh team. With that stated, I must side with Mr. Toledo over there. Scott Linehan has an amazing track record as an offensive coordinator. However, I think I could’ve even been an amazing O-Coordinator having Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper. Just saying.

First of all, I didn’t say he was the Head Coach. I just said that he was with the Lions.
Second, The Lions had Mike Martz (another former Rams Head Coach) as their offensive coordinator and they still wasn’t sh*t!
You are taking this too damn personal! Don’t get mad at the truth, son. I know more about football that you will ever know.
And as far as bad drafts are concerned, the Lions got that down pat. You wanna be pissed at someone, start with Matt Millen, not me!

To fully understand the Rams draft futility, you have to go back to the 2001 draft where they had 3 first round draft picks. The Rams came out of the first round with two defensive tackles (Damione Lewis and Ryan Pickett) and safety Adam Archuleta, passing on defensive tackles Casey Hampton, Marcus Stroud, Kris Jenkins, and Shaun Rodgers. Throw in second round pick (#42 overall) Tommy Polley, and you have a superfecta of draft failure.

Well in 1996 they drafted Lawrence Phillips, Eddie Kennison and Tony Banks with their top three picks.
Three years later they won a Super Bowl with Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt and Kurt Warner. So watch out for ‘em this year.

Jay Cutler for Tye Hill and Claude Wroten.
Yeah, that worked out real well for the Rams.
