We’ve heard for a few days that Tom Brady’s shoulder should be just fine in advance of New England’s season opener.
On Tuesday, Brady proved it in front of assembled media at the beginning of Patriots practice.
Brady reportedly threw passes up to 25 yards, and threw harder passes at a short distance. The media isn’t allowed to watch the whole practice, but the Patriots and Brady don’t seem overly concerned with the injury.
Moving forward, we won’t be either.

What matters is how he throws in games, when he’s seeing Bernard Pollards leering face on every incoming defender.

The only issue is that he’s played in 2 preseason games and got hit hard in both. He won’t last a single regular season game that way let alon the whole season. The pass protection is suspect.

probably has some type of seperation like ben had last yr in week 1, he will play but it will last all season and he wont be throwing deep much.

If you guys hate this story so much, then why do you click on it to read it? Is it just to try and piss people off? If so, what does that say about you? Doesn’t anyone actually enjoy having a REAL football conversation anymore, or is it enough to write pointless dribble that is irrelevant i.e. “pats are cheaters” “steelers are roid heads” “colts pump noise and cheat”.

Good to see there’s some actual fans of football on here. I am a lifelong pats fan (lived in NH my whole life) but I’m also a fan of FOOTBALL in general and it’s good to see there’s a few of us left. and trust me, I know there are probably more annoying pats fans than any other team, but I’m sure most of them haven’t been a fan for more than eight years.
and yeah, i’ve noted how the posts that everyone “hates” gets the most traffic. says something about human nature, eh?
I started following the Pats when I was a kid in the late seventies although I’m in Pa.
Most people don’t realize they had some really good teams in the late 70′s and mid 80′s.
At my age now, I realize most of these guys here take their football more seriously than the players themselves.
When the players lose and their season is over, they’re still wealthy. They’re out at charity events with their opponents, not hating them.

The sad part is, we arent talking about 16 year olds, we are talking about grown men, seriously, GROWN MEN. I think the Steelers fans are scared of Brady. They openly cheered his injury,and praised the fact that he got hurt. Because that was their shot at winning the SB, no Tom Brady = Pissburgh has a chance. Look at the track record. When has Pissburgh ever beaten Tom Brady in the playoffs…..? If I was a Pissburgh fan, I would be praying for Pats injuries as well…..
