Wednesday started with Bob Glauber of Newsday reporting that the Jets were seriously considering a trade for Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall.
Wednesday is ending with Glauber reporting that the transaction is highly unlikely.
In the interim, Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reported that the Jets called the Broncos about Marshall, but that the Broncos said they aren’t interested.
We’ll be addressing the situation in further detail via a PFTV segment that we’ll be dropping into the NBCSports.com video player soon.
What has Ochocinco tweeted on this?
The Jets have switched their efforts to Charles Manson… but will still have to outbid the Eagles.
Thank God… I could not stand to have that D-bag on the Jets.
If the Jets offered a #1 pick and Mc-D turned them down then he is as dumb sock full of pennies. Two ones next fall replaces Cutler (theoretically) and that must be the end game, right?
@milehiclown..Broncos have already got two 1st and a 3rd for Cutler. Broncos paid out $23 million guarantee money for two 1st this year. They can not afford another two 1st next year. And before anyone say ‘but you can trade them’, no GM wants in the top 15.
Hey Krow…..really lame joke brah. Not really funny at all……
McDaniels has called Tom Cable and asked him to board a jet to Denver for “negotiations”.
This hack journalist perfected his craft…. say something outrageous to get a reaction and sell some copy, then CYA with a half-assed retraction.
