The Arizona Cardinals have determined the 53 men with whom they’ll start the season.
Unless and until, that is, the Cardinals pick up some of the players who’ll be cut by other teams in the next 24 hours.
The team has announced that the following players have been released: linebacker Chase Bullock, guard Trevor Canfield, fullback Tim Castille, cornerback Jameel Dowling, defensive tackle Keilen Dykes, defensive end Alex Field, cornerback Wilfrey Fontenot, center Melvin Fowler, safety Aaron Francisco, receiver Ed Gant, linebacker Victor Hobson, linebacker David Holoway, receiver Onrea Jones, defensive tackle Rodney Leisle, fullback Regan Maui’a, guard Carlton Medder, quarterback Tyler Palko, tight end Leonard Pope, tackle Oliver Ross, receiver Steve Sanders, and running back Chris Vincent.
Any of them with less than four years of service will be subjected to waivers. Any of them with four or more years of service will become unrestricted free agents.
I’m surprised they kept St. Pierre over Palko.
What a disappointment Leonard Pope turned out to be…
Pope’s gone? Really? Wow. Bengals should nab him fo’ sho’.
i’m more surprised they cut leonard pope.
Aaron Francisco and Oliver Ross are great free agent pickups.
safety Aaron Francisco
one game too late!!!!!!!!!
Francisco is garbage and Ross couldn’t block anyone at all. Anyone with speed just tore him apart every game this preseason. He should really just retire. Pope was not really a shocker as the Cardinals like Patrick better as a receiver and Spach and Becht are there to run block….Also Bryd made a play everytime he was on the field but I have feeling he will be lined up as FB.
