Colts-Bengals one-liners

Colts QB Jim Sorgi completed 11-of-19 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown in his only playing time of the preseason.

Colts K Adam Vinatieri, fresh off the PUP list, missed a 48-yard field goal attempt.

KR Chad Simpson earned some praise from Colts coach Jim Caldwell after averaging 26.3 yards on six returns.

Bengals RB DeDe Dorsey showed his versatility by blocking a punt and returning it for a touchdown in the fourth quarter and running for 46 yards on offense.

RB Brian Leonard, his perceived competition for a spot on the Bengals roster, also had a strong game including a leap over a Colts defender en route to a 23-yard run.

Bengals QB Carson Palmer warmed up before the game and pronounced himself “full go” for the start of the regular season.

Vinatieri is one of the most overrated kickers ever! I know he’s made some clutch kicks in the playoffs and in the SBs but in the regular season he’s average at best.
