Ravens-Falcons one-liners

Ravens LB Terrell Suggs made his only preseason appearance count with a sack, tackle for loss and quarterback hit in two series of work.

Ravens K Steve Hauschka did his best to wrap up the job by hitting both of his field goal attempts on Thursday night.

It’s been a poor preseason for Ravens CB Frank Walker who picked up two penalties on one play as a frequent target of Falcons passes.

The Falcons first-team defense gave up a 14-play, 91-yard touchdown drive led by Ravens QB John Beck to open the game.

They did rack up four sacks, though, including one from Falcons first-round pick DT Peria Jerry.

Falcons QB John Parker Wilson completed 13-of-19 passes for 80 yards in his bid for the third quarterback job.

Falcons DT Peria Jerry sacked QB John Beck yesterday. Next victim: the Dolphins Pat White.

Although I have heard rumors that the first team defense was instructed to NOT go all out and give 100% and they are saving alot of their schemes for the regular season, our D is really scaring me. If we can manage the clock with Turner and Snelling and a little dose of Norwood, we will hopefully be ok. We will lose shootouts…The Miami game will be the first true test!
    Go Falcons!
