Cornerback Corey Ivy will be among the players released by the Browns today as Cleveland cuts down to 53 according to PFT strongman, Mike Florio.
Signed in March after spending three seasons in the AFC North with the
Bengals Ravens, the 32-year-old Ivy couldn’t beat out the competition for the nickel corner spot. Ivy’s release means that rookie Coye Francies and veteran Hank Poteat will likely make the cut.
Given he played 16 games for the Ravens last season and still has some tread left on his tires, Ivy will likely be a guy that will latch on somewhere.
