The Indianapolis Colts have announced their roster cuts, which takes the size of the team down to 53 players.
Gone are running back Lance Ball, receiver Sam Giguere, defensive tackle John Gill, defensive tackle Adrian Grady, running back Mike Hart, defensive end Marcus Howard, defensive back Dante Hughes, center Steve Justice, receiver John Matthews, receiver Brett McDermott, running back Walter Mendenhall, guard Tom Pestock, receiver Taj Smith, linebacker Michael Tauiliili, defensive tackle Terrance Taylor, tackle Jaimie Thomas, defensive end Josh Thomas, and tackle Michael Toudouze.
Taylor was a fourth-round pick in the 2009 draft, and Thomas arrived via round seven.
The Colts also waived/injured defensive back Nick Graham, defensive back Travis Key, and tight end Jamie Petrowski.

In the ridiculous headline of the day contest, the first roster cut article/post/blog of the day should have been "The First Cut Is The Deepest".
I'm just sayin'...
Now, you can go back to adding google search entries for guys who'll want to prove they played pro football to their kids 20 years from now...
The players that the Colts just cut could line up and beat the Raiders, Chiefs, and Lions....
Mike Hart out of the league already ... how far has his star fallen.

Completely agreed....Mike Hart is a good RB....having him as a #3 RB is awesome....I don't get why on Earth we would cut him....yes, he was injured last year, but he was a great 6th rd sleeper....this really sucks, Hart had potential....I just hope we get him back before someone else gets a free agent steal.
