Darius Walker dumped in Denver

PFT head honcho Mike Florio has informed us that running back Darius Walker has been released by the Broncos.

Some in Denver thought Walker could end up making the team over LaMont Jordan, but that didn’t happen.

It’s uncertain if Jordan will make the roster behind Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter, and Peyton Hillis, who can also line up at fullback.

Biy, I hope they don’t keep Jordan over Walker. Just look at the tape and you can figure that out.
Buckhalter, Moreno, and Hillis will be a great group, but they will need another to help out for the season.

I can’t believe that McD kept this old fat worthless running back. I thought Walker was playing ok, but played really well in the final preseason game. Being so young I thought he had potential. Expect the Broncos to be hurting for RB depth due to an injury prone Buckhalter(who I like), injury prone Jordan if he makes the team, Hillis is coming off a torn hammy, and Knowshon and his sprained MCL. Too bad, cross my fingers and we can pick him up for the practice squad.

Jordan is a good player the 25% or so of the time he is not injured.

Keeping Jordan while dumping Walker = FAIL

Jordan’s a bust. Walker has more upside. Good job “Boy Blunder” aka McDaniels.
