Even Marshawn Lynch’s suspension couldn’t get Dominic Rhodes on Buffalo’s opening roster.
The former Colt, who was expected to provide a veteran presence behind Fred Jackson while Lynch missed the first three games of the season, was released by the Bills Saturday, according to Fox’s Alex Marvez.
Xavier Omon is set up to be the team’s third running back after Rhodes’ release and will likely get carries in the first three games of the season.
Dominic Rhodes would be good back up insurance for the Seahawks if “Edge” gets banged up.
When he heard the news he pissed himself.
Bears should take a look at him. He ran all over them in the Super Bowl.
Really, to back up the back up in Seattle? Should that really be a concern? One over the hill back up is enough.
I expect the Colts to give him a look for the third time.
I totally agree with that statement. The Bears should most definatly should take a look at him. with Jones going down Rhodes would be an incredible fit as Matt Forte’s backup. “Fat”
