Seahawks cut Brian Russell

Safety Brian Russell was good enough to start all 32 games for the Seahawks over the last two seasons.

He wasn’t good enough to make the 2009 roster, however.  (And Seattle fans would argue he wasn’t very good all along.)

The seven-year veteran has plenty of experience in the league and should be attractive for another team looking for depth at safety.

Wow didn’t see that coming. He sucked though. Watching him tackle was like a chihuahua hump a pro wrestler

He was great when he was on the Browns. They need help at safety and should take him back. I’ll never forget the ridiculously awesome brain-rattling hit he inflicted at Chad “STFU” Ochocinco. Made my week.
