Jets linebacker Calvin Pace won't spend his four-game suspension hanging out with a stuffed tiger. Instead, this Calvin will be punching, kicking, and humping a stuffed heavy bag.
Per Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News, Pace will go to Las Vegas for two weeks to participate in the MMA training program that FOX's Jay Glazer and UFC star Randy Couture have devised for high-end athletes.
"The reason why I'm doing MMA is it's probably the closest thing you can
find to football as far as conditioning, cardiovascular and the
physical aspect," Pace told Cimini. "I'm not going to be
fighting and I'm not going to be getting hit. I'm just going to be
training my behind off."
Cimini points out that Saints defensive end Charles Grant and Will Smith plan to attend as well; however, with the league not yet officially suspending them, their plan to participate in the training (which might or might not include throwing potatoes at large televisions) is on ice, for now.

Well Florio, with all these athletes training MMA, you have to think to yourself that maybe you're behind the curve as far as where MMA is seen as a Real Man's sport, especially if your beloved "NFL Athletes" are traning in it.
I think I will now call you, "Old Man Florio"
HAHAHA. You can post this cause there's no curse words in it like your posts have been since you asked people to stop cursing in the comments. Man, you're starting to run this site like it's the NFL.
