Since the O-line would be responsible for any eventual injury to Matt Schaub, it probably will also be responsible for unleashing the worst aspects of Grossman. Give Rex an extra half-second on every throw he made in Chicago and he wouldn’t be nearly as terrible as he’s thought to be. His mechanics still suck and his passes soar, but he wouldn’t stand out as much as he does as an eye-soar at starting QB.
