Chargers fill up practice squad

The Chargers have announced the eight members of the team’s practice squad.

Per Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune, they are receiver Gary Banks, linebacker Darry Beckwith, linebacker James Holt,
cornerback Simeon Castille, offensive tackle Corey Clark, defensive end
Andre Coleman, fullback Billy Latsko, and center Ryan McDonald.

Acee points out that the surprise omission is receiver Charly Martin, who caught five passes for 67 yards in the preseason opener.

Martin remains without NFL employment after being cut by the Chargers, not claimed on waivers, and not signed to any team’s practice squad.
