Woodson lands on Redskins practice squad

Former Giants quarterback Andre Woodson has taken Chase Daniel’s expected place on Washington’s practice squad.

Woodson struggled badly in New York during the preseason, but has size and a great track record in college.  Conspiracy theorists will wonder if Woodson is only being signed to see what he knows about the Giants, Washington’s Week One opponent.

Then again, former Associated Press-now-Fanhouse writer Dave Goldberg pointed out on Twitter that “the way [Woodson] played in exhibitions, he didn’t seem to know much about the offense.”

Boom, roasted.

The rest of Washington’s practice squad: safety Lendy Holmes, defensive end Rob Jackson, wide receiver Onrea Jones, wide receiver Trent Shelton, linebacker Darrel Young, fullback Eddie Williams, and defensive end J.D. Skolnitsky.

As PFT mentioned Sunday, the Redskins lost a few players they were hoping to keep to other active rosters.

Woodson is so dumb he couldn’t communicate anything to the Redskins. He doesn’t understand the Giants offense for squat.
Never have I come across a dumber NFL QB.
