On the Internet, the only thing that travels faster than accurate information is inaccurate information.
And the worldwide series of wires and tubes invented by Al Gore has been buzzing today with the erroneous news that the Broncos have cut tight end Richard Quinn, the team’s second-round pick in the 2009 draft.
Apparently, Josina Anderson of FOX 31 in Denver misinterpreted the fact that Quinn has been released from jail as an indication that he has been released from the roster.
Quinn was jailed Monday as a result of an allegation of harassment arising from a domestic dispute.
So Quinn is out of jail, not out of a job.

It will be interesting to see what comes about in this case. Colorado is a different state, and there is no due process during the investigation. A 911 call is placed, the man is immediately thrown in jail for the night – no investigation until later. The report was he was protecting a 1 yr old in the process, and the “scratches on his back” as told by the agent seem to suggest something resembling this.
Regardless, if I were a pro athlete, I think I would keep my social calendar clear.
That Al Gore is a pretty smart man. Everyday I turn on this computer thingy, I thank Him for making this all possible.
Thank you Al Gore.
Now make the world cooler, will ya.
And Terry Bradshaw is dead.
Be the first to get a Jojo scoop!
Even if it’s wrong!
C’mon Florio….While I realize this is a rumor site, spreading the stupid lie about Al Gore “inventing” the Internet is even beneath a former attorney like yourself. It’s right-wing bullshit and you should know it.
