Woodhead returns to the Jets

Fan favorite Danny Woodhead, who spent all of the 2008 season on injured reserve, was cut by the Jets after a solid preseason.

And then he was claimed by no one on waivers.

And then he was signed by no team’s practice squad.

But the Jets have pulled an about face, adding Woodhead to the practice squad and dumping fullback Jehuu Caulcrick.

So the popular Woodhead is back in the fold.

After all, there are still plenty of PSLs to sell.

Just like I said when you reported on the team’s initial practice squad and Woodhead was absent – it was because he was waived before it had been formed. Knew he’d be there eventually.

My girlfriend has just been informed that moving forward, she is to address my junk as Woodhead, or she too will be waived!

Actually, now that I think about it, isn’t he like 5’9? Guess I didn’t really think that one thru very well!
