Can Big Ben pull off another late comeback?

Ben Roethlisberger will get a chance Thursday night to do what he does best: play an uneven football game, then pull it out in the fourth quarter.

The Steelers trail 10-7 with eleven minutes to go, meaning the Titans have a chance to make my upset pick from earlier Thursday look less stoopid than Czar Florio said.

Pittsburgh should feel fortunate to be so close.  The Titans have completely shut down the Pittsburgh rushing game, and have nearly doubled the Steelers’ first down total.

And none of it will matter if Roethlisberger can pull yet another comeback out of his helmet.

11 minutes left. Does that count as a “late” comeback?

I don’t know. But, that Brett Favre/Sears commercial puts Peyton Manning to shame.
Maybe not, I dont know, I cant make decisions.

I thought what Ben did best was come up short and get bailed out by bad officiating like we saw in those 2 Super Bowls. ;)

I really don’t like Big ben, i think he is a horrible quaterback, but man, he consistently takes huge hits and gets right up. Kearse about took his head off, and he jumps right up. Admirable.

The only person that can stop a Roethlisberger hurry-up drive is Bruce Arians.

TSE has it right. And in this game today, once the steelers won the overtime coin toss, it’s basically over with the assistance of the zebras. Their o line was holding throughout the game, literally from the first play, on the kickoff return. BLATANT holding.
    Amazing.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could play o line like that and get away with it?
    What a JOKE.

now the titans know how the ravens feel.
Ben is a game manager? no running game, but leads the steelers to yet again another come from behind victory against a tough Tennessee defense.
hope lendale white cries himself to sleep w/ my steelers 6 time super bowl champions terrible towel.

Can you snivel a little louder? I can’t hear you over my victory dance.
You don’t want to go there. Really. We should change James Harrison’s number from 92 to 32 since he gets tackled on every play. That pass interference call on Troy? Joke. The holding call on Starks? Even Collinsworth called BS and he’s not exactly a Steelers fanboi.
All that aside, great opening game by the Titans. I thought they did a good job on the road and in a hostile environment.

bens by far the best 4th qt qb in the leage, there is no contest! everytime the guy has the ball on the last drive of the game tied or trailing he scores against any defense in the leage!~
Ive senn brady and especially manning choke many times late in big games like this and ben constatly goes rite down the field with the chips on the table!

@danlinker – get a clue man. Even if your claims are true, the Tenn OL was just as guilty…get over your hate and admit you got beat! Quit blaming the refs, it’s a sign of weakness!

one of the things that Ben always has is that his defense always keeps him within one possession of the opponent in case they are trailing … Manning is the master of the 2-min drill, let’s no belittle Manning or Brady(who goes insane in clutch) considering they have never had a defense like Ben has with the Steelers
games against the Colts are based on ensuring that Peyton doesn’t get the ball for enough time
