Antonio Cromartie apparently hasn't learned his lesson

Last month, the Chargers fined cornerback Antonio Cromartie for whining, Twitter-style, about the quality of the grub at training camp.

This time around, the penalty could be even more significant.

Earlier this week, Cromartie posted at his Twitter page a picture of notes he took while studying film

In a later post, Cromartie explains that it's not a picture of the playbook.

We're not sure the Chargers will appreciate the distinction, especially since they didn't appreciate his grousing about something innocuous like the quality of the food being served to players.

And that's the most amazing aspect of this.  Even if Cromartie genuinely believes he's doing nothing wrong by publishing an image of the notes he took while watching film, why is he even taking the chance that he might be doing something to which the team will react negatively?

Then again, it's been nearly four days since Cromartie posted the image.  It's still up, and surely the team has been monitoring his Twitter page.

Unless they assumed (ass-you-me) that Cromartie had learned his lesson the first time around.

Could there even be a logical explanation for him posting that? I think not. Unless the general public plans to sub at cb vs. Oakland sometime soon and AC wanted to help us out. In that case, thanks.

Even tho this is far fetched isnt it possible the notes are completly fake? You always say coaches will do anything to gain a competive advantage. If its lying about who there starter is or hiding injuries they will pretty much do anything to make it harder on other teams to win. So seeing that its been 5 days since he posted the notes and nothing has happen so far isnt it possible that the team knows about it and supports it. If u think about it it would be a good way to mislead other coaches. Because if they think Antonio is going to do one thing in coverage they will probly have there team try to exploit that. So when they think hes going to go right he might end up going left and get a interception or pass break up.

Its not that far fetched when u think about. The only reason coaches would get mad about there players posting notes is because they think other teams are going to be reading it and getting an advantage out of it. So posting fake notes are going to do the same thing, but instead of giving the other team the advantage they would be the ones getting it. I think in the technology we have today b/c of twitter etc. we will see alot more of these fake notes and or comments in the future.
