Thursday injury report highlights

The Thursday injury report was released on (duh) Thursday.  And but for a few other things that were happening last night (there was a full slate of Major League Baseball games, after all), we might have gotten to posting it and presenting some of its highlights.

So here’s the full list, and here’s some of the more important aspects of it.

The Patriots, who play on Monday night, made their first report of the week on Thursday.  Quarterback Tom Brady was listed as a full participant despite a right shoulder injury, which was sustained when Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth smushed him two weeks ago.

The greater concern might be New England receiver Wes Welker, who was a limited participant with a knee injury.

Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis after missing practice Wednesday.

Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel (knee) continues to participate on a
limited basis.  Chiefs receiver Terrance Copper showed up for the first
time on the report Thursday; he practiced on a limited basis with a
hamstring injury.

Bucs receiver Antonio Bryant (knee) practiced on a limited basis after fully participating on Wednesday.

Bengals receiver Chris Henry (thigh) missed practice Thursday after not being on the Wednesday report.

Lions defensive tackle Grady Jackson (knee) didn’t practice after practicing on a limited basis on Wednesday.

Saints running back Pierre Thomas (knee) missed practice again on Thursday.

Jags left tackle Tra Thomas (back) appeared on the report for the first time, but he fully participated in practice.

Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata continued to be limited by a knee injury.

Falcons defensive end John Abraham, a limited participant Wednesday with a knee injury, fully participated on Thursday.

Vikings receiver Bernard Berrian continues to be limited by a hamstring injury (but he definitely has a better chance of playing for Minnesota on Sunday than Bobby Wade).

Browns defensive tackle Shaun Rogers was limited again with a foot injury.

Texans receiver Kevin Walter, a key complement to Andre Johnson, missed another practice with a knee hamstring injury.

Eagles right tackle Shawn Andrews, not on Wednesday’s report, missed practice Thursday with an apparent flare up of his back problems.

Giants cornerback Aaron Ross (hamstring) missed practice again.

Packers defensive lineman B.J. Raji (ankle) practiced on a limited basis after missing practice on Wednesday.

Friday’s report will by released on Friday.  Unless it’s released on Friday.

Shawn Andrews had a flare up of acute cameltosis. Surprise, surprise. Was he sulking because Stacy got to sit next to Andy Reid at dinner?
