When Reggie Brown made Philadelphia’s 53-man roster a week ago, many folks thought it was only a temporary stay of employment execution.
Brown, however, appears to be in Philadelphia for the long run. Or at least the 2009 season.
Scout’s Adam Caplan notes that Brown was still on the roster after Saturday’s 4:00 p.m. ET deadline when base salaries essentially are guaranteed for vested veterans.
Brown is one of seven Philadelphia wide receivers on the roster, although he probably won’t be active on game days unless injuries strike.
