So let's try to relieve some of the buildup by pointing you towards the latest power rankings to post on the site: No. 12, No. 11, No. 10, No.9, and No. 8 are all up on the site.
The latest batch includes our top-ranked NFC South team, two NFC East powerhouses, and a Super Bowl sleeper in the land where the tundra is unfrozen for now.
Some of the other teams left have already been written; the rest will be written quickly. (And be a little more concise.) Heck, I may even throw you a bone by showing the entire list in order at the bottom of number seven while Czar Florio isn't paying attention. (If I can find some extra time in the day.)
One thing we can all be happy about: the slog towards the finish of these rankings will be over soon, and we can watch the entire league make a mockery of these rankings Sunday.
The Green Bay Packers are only 10th?
Do you people ever leave the Eastern Time Zone?
Hmmmm....Bob Nelson; what was the Packers' record last year? That might be the reason that some folks are a little skeptical....
Either you forgot one, or you have a big upset in the top 7.
I don't like that these are late and logjammed. It was much better when they came out one at a time, with regularity, and before the season actually started. Two of the remaining teams have already played each other. Kind of takes away some of the point of the whole thing.
Actually, what takes away most from the point of the whole thing is not having a list.
I couldn't tell you what a single one is, I'm not clicking on 32 separate links to find out. Sorry.

Redskins are #22, Dallas #11, and Philly #9, yet you say the Redskins are going to the Super Bowl. You and Tila Tequila being doing shots?
"The Green Bay Packers are only 10th?"
Yeah, really. . .that's at least 10 spots too high. Maybe more.
