Sponsored post: Get in the RedZone now

Well, kids, tomorrow is the day.

It’s the NFL’s version of Christmas, with eight of your presents simultaneously unwrapping at 1:00 p.m. ET.

And here’s the best way to keep track of the contents of the packages — with the NFL’s RedZone.

It’s a brand-new product, bringing you the best moments of every game as they happen.  Hosted by NFLN’s Scott Hanson, RedZone helps you stay on top of the important developments without inducing an open dislocation of the index finger on your remote-control hand.

For more information about RedZone, including whether it’s available on a cable or satellite service to which you subscribe, click here.

Yes, this is a sponsored post.  So there goes any objectivity we had left after we sold our souls to 30 Rock and abandoned our previous tone and content.

I have Time/Warner Mike…what’s the chance I get this “RedZone” thing?

I just saw last night that Andrew Siciliano got the boot from Redzone.
I thought he was good, and wish him luck. Looks like a pretty face won out of talent again.

Tell NFLN that the year is 2009 almost 2010 and that a lot of us use the internet now. Yes, you know, the information superhighway. Forget paying $100/month on cable bills. Give us a way to get RedZone per the internet! Gee, what an idea, eh? Oh by the way, you might want to include a way to send to my iPhone on my 3G network. Yea, iPhones are available in 2009 also.
    Thanks!

So is Andrew Siciliano still gonna host the Direct TV version. I hope so, he does a good job. You know we hate change Florio.

There has been alot of fans asking how you can watch your teams’ games live as your not able to view the games through your satellite or cable provider, choose not to due to economic reasons or your out of town and the local channels don’t carry the game your wanting to watch. I would look at either http://www.yourteamlive.com or http://www.tv4pcs.net
For the price of about one months cable bill you have unlimited access to NFL, college football, MLB, NBA, NHL, golf, and just about any other sport you can imagine.

Mike, its not a brand new product. They had it last year on Directv superfan and Directv supercast for your pc. Its only now available on the other cable channels.

There seems to be some confusion here. NFLN’s Red Zone Channel is a completely different product than DirecTV’s Red Zone Channel. Scott Hanson is the host of the NFLN version, and according to Siciliano’s Twitter account he’s doing the D*tv one again this year. If you have D*TV you’ll get their version. If you have a different TV provider (list here) you can sign up for the NFLN version.
I wonder if the NFLN product will be as smooth and polished as the DirecTV one – they’ve been doing it for a while and some weeks we just watch that because you see all the action from all the games.

Subscribed just using the remote with Fios. $49.99 for the season. I am thrilled to have this after all the years of exclusivity. Direct TV sucks IMHO…

For the Philly folks, I found it in the guide in the upper-tier sports package at ch 734. I don’t know if you can only get with this package or not.
