Matt Cassel will not play against the Ravens today in Baltimore. Cassel tried to go before the game but was ruled out.
He told friends this week he had every intention of playing in this game so it’s likely he’s been ruled out by the medical staff thanks to the MCL he sprained in the preseason.
Also inactive for the Chiefs: Brandon Flowers, Dantrell Savage, Andy Alleman, Jake O’Connell, Turk McBride and Pierre Walters.
For the Ravens, Jalen Parmele, Dannell Ellerbe, O’niel Cousins, Tony Mill, L.J. Smith, Brandon McKinney and Paul Kruger are down.
sh*t i already locked in my suicide pool pick
Weak.
If I were a member of the Chiefs, I’d see a guy who is supposed to be a leader… who chose to sit out.
Everybody has some bumps and bruises…
They paid Cassel too much money to have him just get knocked out for the season by the Ravens. This shows how little they care about Brodie Croyle. Over/under on Croyle’s knee injury is 8:15 left in the second quarter.
Ravens D for Fantasy…
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Pack!
Jason Whitlock called it. Good move, hopefully backed by their MD’s.
this is a good smart move. the flowers thing is bad though; hes a legit #1.
Why is Kruger out?
If I was Matt Cassel I wouldnt want to face the Raven’s D either…dont blame the kid. Too bad for KC though, overpaying a QB to sit on the bench to start the season. Dont know why they arent starting Thiggy…he was legit at the end of last year..
