The NFL has passed a rule prohibiting the use of social media (specifically, Twitter) within 90 minutes before kickoff.

Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett posted a Twitter message (actually a “retweet”) at approximately 2:55 p.m. ET, ten minutes beyond the deadline for doing so.
The Cardinals face the 49ers in a game that starts at 4:15 p.m. ET.
