Orton, Moreno active for Broncos

As reported on Friday, Kyle Orton is active and will start for the Denver Broncos in Cincinnati this afternoon.

He’ll have rookie Knowshon Moreno in the backfield with him. Moreno’s been bothered by a knee injury during the preseason but he’ll split time in the Broncos backfield with Correll Buckhalter.

For the Bengals, wide receiver Chris Henry missed some practice time this week because of a thigh injury but he’s going to be in the lineup. The Bengals inactives are cornerback David Jones, running back DeDe Dorsey, defensive back Tom Nelson, guard Scott Kooistra, tight end Chase Coffman, wide receiver Jerome Simpson, defensive end Frostee Rucker and Jordan Palmer will be the third quarterbcak.

The Broncos inactives are highlighted by guard Chris Kuper, who is still bothered by a sprained ankle. Safety Josh Barrett, defensive tackle Chris Baker, tackle Brandon Gorin, linebacker Jarvis Moss, defensive end Le Kevin Smith and wide receiver Brandon Lloyd. Tom Brandstater will be the third quarterback.
