Rosenfels odd man out for Vikes

Sage Rosenfels’ late summer continues to be not that awesome.

He’s the emergency quarterback as the Vikings visit Cleveland.

So Rosenfels, acquired by the Vikings in a trade with Houston back in February, has gone from the presumptive starter in Minnesota (at least that’s what his three-year, $9 million deal with Minny would infer) to holding the clipboard.

The other inactives for the Vikings are corner Asher Allen, LB Erin Henderson, DL Fred Evans, newly-acquired WR Greg Lewis, S Jamarca Sanford, WR Jaymar Johnson, and OL Kory Lichtensteiger.

Running back Cedric Peerman, corner DeAngelo Smith, RB Jerome Harrison, LB Leon Williams, CB Marquis Floyd, TE Martin Rucker, and OG Rex Hadnot won’t play for Cleveland.
