Bucs bring back Mahan

Cut by the Bucs after taking a pay cut, guard/center Sean Mahan has been brought back to the team.

Tampa Bay announced the move today, in the wake of news that starting center Jeff Faine will miss “several weeks” (per Pewter Report) with a triceps injury.

The Bucs also announced that defensive end Tim Crowder, a second-round pick of the Broncos in 2007, has been signed.

And perhaps the most significant development of the day is that punter A.J. Trapasso has been released from the practice squad.  Trapasso is best known for being the first man to punt a football into the video board at Cowboys Stadium while playing for the Titans during the preseason.
