i am not a ravens fan nor a mason but i may start to cheer mason on! his comments about meshawn were right on. i’d rather see michael irvin in the seat than meshawn.
i agree where is chris carter now that crabtree still has not signed. at least heyward-bey was in camp and is playing.

You shouldnt be tied with the worst team in the AFC in the 4th quarter . But your close to what ? Losing another game to the Steelers ? lol

Haha one of my all-time favorite NFL moments belongs to Keyshawn Johnson. When Dwayne Jarrett was drafted, Keyshawn said he couldn’t wait to have him on the team (Carolina) and was excited to begin grooming him to become a stud WR. Keyshawn was cut the next day, hahahahahaha. I guess the Panthers agreed with Mason.

Mason is way out of line.
Keyshawn and Carter called the Raven WR’s bums…which isn’t far from the truth. Nobody disrespected Flacco’s game.
KJ and Carter are obnoxious people (most WR’s are) but they are each 100x better than Derrick Mason will ever hope to be. Seriously. Johnson and Carter spent the majority of their career playing #1 WR. Going up against the other teams shutdown corner. Mason, just be quiet and hope you get an analyst job when they cut you next year.

Unfortunately one thing that doesn’t seem to have changed much since Billick’s tenure is the number of penalties Baltimore accrued and how it influenced the game. The KC touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters were immediately preceded by Baltimore infractions that resulted in automatic first downs – Tavares Gooden’s illegal use of hands and Jarret Johnson’s roughing the passer. With eight penalties resulting in a loss of 65 yards yesterday, the Ravens would have gotten their butts kicked if they had been playing a team capable of converting on their own and maximizing on Baltimore’s mistakes.

I remember being at the NFL Draft in 2007 and Keyshawn was running his mouth from the analysts seat like always.
In the second round, the Panthers ended up taking Dwayne Jarrett and the crowd at Radio City that was left (this was middle second round, most people leave after the first) were getting on him hard… Keyshawn! You’re out of a job again!
Mason has it right. Keyshawn is the bum. One of the most over-hyped receivers of all time.

Everybody is sleeping on this Ravens team for the 2009 season just because we lost three hard fought games against the Steelers last year. This team is a real contender and we have show that the last five games. Keyshawn now, Chris Berman during the 1999 season…the pundits usually sleep on the Ravens.

There’s also a chance John Harbaugh had bet the Ravens minus the 13.5 at the window or over the wire…
1:30 left in the game 4th down, up by 7 already. We don’t kick the field goal because a touchdown and XP covers the spread. For god’s sake we don’t want to blow this bet…
gambling doesn’t affect the NFL…ha.

Aaron Wilson- you clearly didnt watch the game…the defense didn’t “give up”24 points to the Chiefs. the chiefs scored on a blocked punt in the end zone and scored another TD from 6 yards out when Flacco threw a pic that was taken that far down into Ravens territory. right there is 14 points. the chiefs only had 188 yards of total offense and 50 odd yards or so came on one play, a bomb to Mark Bradley. the chiefs only rushed for 29 yards all day. so the game was closer than it needed to be, but it was turnovers that kept this game close. the Ravens dominated every aspect of the game, besides that and penalties. any day you give up less that 200 yards and 29 yards of total rushing, i think you have to be pretty happy with the performance.

If you didn’t see the game, don’t comment. A blocked punt that leads to a touchdown is not the defense’s fault. Anybody who saw the game knows the Raven’s defense is still spectacular.

The Ravens are my team but I can’t be too excited about that win. Fake Aaron Wilson isn’t completely accurate though.
The defense gave up 10 points. Special teams and offense gave up 14. If not for that, I’d be happy.
Cam Cameron said they wanted to get a bunch of snaps in offensively. He basically made it sound like they were treating it as a preseason game, hoping to try a lot of stuff out. That’s great for KC, but they better put that away for SD next week and play regular Raven football.

did you watch the game. you sound like peter king. essentially you looked at the score and started talking.
KC had 24 points. 7 came off a punt block TD. 7 came off a INT run back 70 yards to the 6 yard line. 3 cam off a drive that led to a 53 yard field goal.
there was one drive with a good contested 50 yard long ball that the offense actually did its job and scored.
so i’ll give the Ravens D credit for giving up 10 points for real and a 6 yard drive for a TD. giving up 188 yards in total offense while our offense had over 500 yards of total offense. we had more rushing yards than KC did total offense.
if you don’t know what you are speaking of, STFU.
