McNabb’s injury must be pretty serious for them to sign Garcia with Vick being reinstated week 3. surely they could play Kolb 1 game if they had confidence Vick could step in week 3.
Kolb is defenatly gone & it almost looks like there ready to send McNabb go after another injury plauged year. i cant remember the last time McNabb played a full season & its got to put pressure on him to see 2 starting QBs running his team.
you really think they would pull Vick or Garcia for McNabb if their on a winning streak? it wont happen & the fans LOVED Garcia when he was there. McNabb is in trouble & he knows A.Reid has been trying to get rid of him for the past couple years. heck the fans have boo’ed him off the field many time & he’s done nothing but CHOKE in big games.
its either A.Reid or McNabb in Philly after this year but it could happen soon rather then later. i can assure you the last thing McNabb wanted to see was Vick signing with the Eagles & even more then Vick signing was the addition of Garcia today.
he didnt evenwant to look at the camera when he was interviewed about the signing of Garcia.
that organization is a mess & you can only keep so much private before its just obvious. there trying to go in the same direction but only with different players. Vick is the future of Philly & so is McCoy, they knew going into the draft that RB was on top the list. they drafted a franchise RB that can run the same scheme as Westbrook.
i dont disagree with the Phillys going in another direction but i disagree with how their doing it. McNabb & the rest of the guys that dont fit in their future plans have families & they have given a lot to the community & organization. especially Mcnabb, he might not have won the big game but neither did Dan Marino. Westbrook has been a workhorse & took a lot of abuse for them to win some games. he put his body on the line for that organization & they couldnt even give him a fair contract or guarentee him 2 more years. he might not have been E.Smith but he’s the best they ever seen…good organization thats breaking down & its only going to get worse.
Mcnabb must really love his job or be the dumbest person alive to sit there & lie for an organization thats throwing him under the bus…
i’m a Dallas Cowboy fan & i know things arent perfect their either but atleast they release guys before they throw them under the bus. the Eagles organization hasnt been the same since TurdO was riding the exercise bike in the driveway so they know first hand the mess he creates…

Reggie Brown is fully vested and they would have to pay him for the entire year (not to mention the six mil dead space on cap).
Hank Basket, they get all of his 1.5 mil back except for the prorated one game amount.
Baskett may be back after Garcia (or Kolb) gets cut when McNabb returns. Or, that spot may go to Runyan. One thing is for sure – Kolb will be the 3rd string when McNabb comes back so he does not take an active game day spot. Maybe he and Reggie Brown can practice together while the team is playing.

I would LOVE to have seen Kendra’s face when she heard the news. I’m sure she had delusions of being in the spotlight with a pro athlete, and now she will be longing for the days of living off Heff while he gets tossed around the league and probably either ends up on a practice squad or in Canada. I think EVERYONE except Kendra saw this coming. Sorry Hank but you just aren’t that talented a receiver and Kendra your appeal left when that lip sync’ show went off the air a few years ago.
