It’s amusing to see all the energy spent on cowboy-bashing and jerry hating, especially when it’s all based on a fantasy they apparently have about the game being blacked out–not going to happen. jerry stupid for building a big stadium?? are you coming back here to comment on how you’re stupid for saying that when u see you’re wrong? doubt it. Jerry’s stupid for video screen to low?? anyone with that opinion realize this issue was vetted thru NFL/Goddell? Does that fact matter to any of you? Love them Cowboys…any of you haters love your team enough to just concentrate on them?

America’s Team will NEVER face a blackout bcuz they have the largest fan base across the world. it dont matter where people live they travel to see the America’s Team, Jerry could have filled the stadium if held 200,000. the scoreboard is a huge addition to the new stadium & will be treasured by fans for years to come, no way that thing ever gets rasied…its nice to have an owner that doesnt roll over or take crap from anyone…the NFL needs Jerry, like it or not.

Cowboys spokesman Brett Daniels says the team’s standing-room “Party Pass” tickets, at $29 apiece, have sold out. The Cowboys will say only that the standing-room total exceeds 20,000 fans.
Combined with regular ticket sales in the 80,000-seat stadium, Dallas could challenge the NFL attendance record of 103,467 when they take on the New York Giants.

They ditched blackouts in Australia a few years due to the fact that some teams were never on TV when they played at home. Some teams struggled to get 30,000 to a game in a 100,000 seat stadium. As a result teams had to work harder to attract fans to games. This resulted in teams listening to fans and catering to their needs such as free tickets to young children. As a direct result season ticket holders have increased and attendance is up. TV revenue has also increased. Ban blackouts and make teams work harder for for their buck. I bet you will find everybody ends up happier in the long run.

I wish I could go to Philly for the Saints game at the Linc. That would be AWSOME!
I believe the Cowboys come to the Superdome to play the Saints. I’ll be THERE!
No worry about blackouts in New Orleans. The season is sold out with 50,000 people on the waiting list. Still expensive.
I guess if the old crumudgeon Benson ever gets a new stadium(hopefully never) then PSL’s will be the rule.
That’s the new NFL. And I’m sure after the lockout the poor billuionaire owners will be looking to fans & taxpayers to “help” them stay in business.
Oh well!

The Cowboys truly are Americas team because obviously the Metroplex itself is incapable of supporting its local NFL franchise!!

They wont blackout for one reason: Jerry’s Kids.
The man has many corporate friends who will bail him out and buy the remaining tickets of every game in question.
Yes, it happens.
The Vikings have “sold out” every game since ’98. I cant tell you how many times the threat of blackout lingered, but help from corporate businesses avoided it.

FALSE.
The number to count as a “sellout” for blackout purchases is 82,000. The stadium can hold over 100,000 with standing room.
They still have seats available because the stadium is so big, but it is technically a “sellout.” They released this information to try and sell the few seats that are still available. All standing room has been sold.
They said today they are expecting over 100,000 people and anticipate breaking the NFL record for the most fans, which was set in the Mexico City game a few games back between the 49ers and the Cardinals.
So I did my research, which just involved reading the facts, clearly more than the author of this post.
