Roof, doors will be open at Cowboys Stadium

When the North Texas Football Cathedral makes it official debut on Sunday night, God will be able to watch the game.

If that big television wasn’t in the way.

According to Jeff Caplan of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the hole in the roof and the world’s largest sliding glass doors will be open for the Giants-Cowboys game.

It will be the first time for any event that the roof and doors, positioned behind each end zone, will be open, weather permitting.

The crowd at the game, to be televised on NBC, is expected to exceed 100,000, with 30,000 fans attending on a standing-room only basis, at $29 each.
