This week, there's no way to give the NBC game a backseat to any other contest on the schedule.
Sure, Captain Lou Albano is doing the best to make the Patriots-Jets game feel like a bigger deal. But how can anything other than the first real game at the North Texas Football Cathedral featuring a visit not from some random set of slappies but the New York Football Giants not be the best of the bunch?
Cue the NBC video player.
Sorry, Jets/Pats is the game of the week, and I'm not even a Jets or Pats fan.
Thank God there is the mute button for the first 16 seconds. Now you just need to put in an Ignore Idiots button in the comments section so we don't have to read every stupid comment from Vox.
Does Florio just talk out of his ass? Did he look at the stats of the cowboys bucs in the 2nd half...they made adjustments and punished them. Why also, does his stupid face make remarks about the cowboys stadium calling it the mother ship. It is Jerry Jones and that stadium that will lead the nfl in all its new stadiums and creates NFL excitement so that even douche bags like florio can have jobs making up crap about nfl players. How about Buffalo and the new OC there, it didnt seem to affect them slicing up the patriots. Please, please stop with the analysis and just report the rumors. You are a moron when you try to create something out of nothing
Cowboys are a clown squad...gettin all the wins in now, well runs out by winter. Game of the week - Jets - Pats. Jets are up and coming, Pats have serious voids...and the trash talk has been laid.

Exercise a little bit of self control and don't read my comments. It's as simple as that. You can handle that, can't you?
Opener at Cowboys stadium against the Giants? Yes, please. Really a no-brainer. If the mother ship was not being fired up for the first time it might be different.
Bears - Packers looked like a preseason game. Would have looked foolish choosing that, although the lead up to the game had me psyched.
Jets are still up and coming, Pats look out of sync but it is still early. Not really game of the week material. Pats were dethroned last year.
Bears - Steelers has some interesting points with Polamalu and Urlacher out. Waiting to see if Cutler plays like a pro QB or if he continues to push things too hard. Steelers are fun to watch just because they keep it close and always pull out a win.
Falcons - Panthers might carry some weight if Delholmme didn't look so horrible last week.
Eagles - Saints if McNabb was playing.
