Bills lose Derek Schouman

Bills tight end Derek Schouman, who went from being a seventh-round pick in 2007 to the starting spot on the depth chart, has been carted off during Buffalo’s game against the Buccaneers.

And it doesn’t look good.

It’s a lower extremity (I learned that from the Broncos) injury, possibly knee. And the demeanor of Schouman and coach Dick Jauron suggests that Schouman will be lost for the year.

Before the injury, Schouman had caught six passes for 62 yards.

The Bills lead by six points entering the fourth quarter, 20-14.
