It's a Week Two PFT marathon

Every Sunday during the 2009 season, we’ll be opening early and closing late here at PFT, with continuous updates beginning before 8:00 a.m. ET and lasting all the way until the Sunday night game (on NBC) ends.

And all hands will be on deck, at one point or another.

Tom Curran and Josh Alper will be carrying most of the load in the two hours prior to kickoff of the opening games, but once the 1:00 p.m. ET contests start I’ll be posting blurbs throughout the day games.  Then, Gregg Rosenthal takes over the night shift while I slide over to the Live Chat chair for Sunday Night Football Extra on NBCSports.com, which allows viewing of the Giants-Cowboys game from multiple angles, including the cable cam that undoubtedly will be scraping the bottom of the mother ship that’s hovering over the playing field at the North Texas Football Cathedral.

Josh Alper is like a stripper working at a strip club on tuesday afternoon. Bring back Aaron Wilson (there’s a phrase I’d never thought I’d say.).

It would be nice if there was some effort on the sister site. Last post was 6:40 pm and there was a ton of action and teams falling again after that. Does NBC know about this?
