Ochocinco does the Lambeau Leap

He promised it, and he delivered it.

Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco, after scoring a third-quarter touchdown pass against the Packers in Green Bay, performed the Lambeau Leap.

Per the Associated Press, Ochocinco looked for and found a spot among three Bengals fans

FOX has opted not to show highlights of the move because, as Curt Menefee is explaining it, “we like our FCC lease.”  (Their standards apparently have changed since broadcasting images of Visanthe Shiancoe’s penis last year.)

Menefee explained that, essentially, the images were verboten because Ochocinco got to see a few middleo fingeros from Packers fans in the immediate vicinity of his entry point.

They did show it twice. Once live and then going to commercial they highlighted it. It wasn’t until the third time they changed it.

Real classy of the packer fan who flicked off the camera as Ochocinco did the Lambeau leap. I’m so glad he was able to do it.
    Eat $hit packer fans!

Hey Bob Nelson, your Packers lost to the Bungals. Let me say that again. Your Packers lost to the frickin Bungals, at Lambeau. Not only did you lose to the Bungals, but loud mouth Chad Ochocinco backed up his big mouth by doing the Lambeau leap in Lambeau Field, just like he said he would!!! Where are you now Bob Nelson? I’m calling you out. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! You lost to the Bungals. Which team isn’t a top ten team Bob Nelson? It’s your overrated Packers. By the way, Favre would have lead you back for the win, but Aaron Rodgers couldn’t get the job done, once again. LOL.

All that aside, its clear the better team won today. After GB was barely able to put away chicago, its no wonder that they didn’t stand a chance against cincy. oh well, you can always go back to your stale, watered down beer and your typical sulking.

I won 4 bills this weekend betting the Vikes and the Bengals. I read a few of Bob Nelson’s drivel quotes last week whereby he mentioned the Lions fans should show up for the Vikes game because their losing streak would be over and he gave us a list of the Pack’s next games in which he intimated they were cinch wins. The first on his list ….the Bengals. Arron Rodgers pulls off another late comeback? NOT.

You say the Vikings beat a loser team, so what, it doesn’t count? The Pack LOST to a loser team… at home. And that Super Bowl quality, vastly improved defense let Cedric Benson put up 140 on them, and 31 points to the same Bengals team who managed only 7 points against Denver.

No one ever said the defense was Super Bowl quality, you’re delusional. It’s improved, but that’s all it is. And if you want to be a Viking fan, stay off of our threads, and change your name. Majkowski was a good QB, and a great Packer. You’re a disgrace to him AND the team.

Look on the bright side packerfans, after the rams get done dismantling your team next week, and the vikes destroy you the week after, you are guarenteed (so far) to be unbeatable in week 5. maybe your boys TT and MM can find a way around not losing during a bye week. Typical class shown by packer fans during the leap, way to go you grubby faced morons. btw, anyone else notice how incredibly dead silent the stadium went after ocho got in? its like jumping into the stands is something that is special and unique only to the idiots in green bay.

Even if you do somehow make it this year, history will remember it took a Packer to do what no Viking QB ever could. That’s something to be proud of for sure.
Back on topic. Thompson and McCarthy had better keep their dogs inside this week. Pathetic showing all around, particularly the O-Line that couldn’t start for many high schools. Absolute disaster. Play-calling couldn’t have been much worse either.
That said, I see this season as a win-win for us. If we somehow pull it together and win, we win. If we continue to suck like this, we can FINALLY get rid of TT and get someone qualified, and Childress should get an extension, so we win. Either way is fine with me.

  23. TheBaySay says: Sep 20, 2009 5:38 PM

We stunk and richly deserved the loss. Defense, and by that I mean Woodson, had a couple of big plays and nothing else. Return unit is average. Nelson seems to be a better option than Blackmon right now. Coverage units are awful. I thought all our linebackers and fullbacks were supposed to make this a strength. No. Offense had no rhythm- bad coaching and execution. Rodgers was on the run all day. Showed a lot of guts taking all the hits he did without just throwing everything up for grabs. Biggest issues are the injuries to Collins and Clifton. Two of the Pack’s ten most valuable guys out, and if they’re out for more than one more game, it will be very tough. Yeah, Vikes in the driver’s seat, but check the calender girls, it’s a long season and a lot can happen. Your history is that you always find a way to blow it. On the plus side this weekend, in your face, Wofford! Ha!

And it’s my choice who I root for, and which posts I comment on. I was a Packer fan, and will be again once TT is gone, which should be after this season. I refuse to support a team with a GM who chooses his own ego over fielding a competitive team

I’m not looking for another team to support, so instead of worrying about my closet, why don’t you crawl back into your own closet with Uncle Ted, so that hopefully no one ever hears from either of you again. Don’t tell me I want to have it both ways, you guys still haven’t explained how he went from being a washed up has-been in ’05, to being the best in the league this year, at least in your minds. Of course you can’t explain it. Hypocrisy is a major part of being a Viking fan, just as disappointment is. So I’ll get ready for more of the former, and you can get ready for more of the latter.

    @ beer cheese soup
Please show me again where i said he was washed up in ’05?
While you are looking that up, also try to find a bit of hypocrisy on my part.
So far this year he has been incredibly effective as a game manager, which is all that is required when you have an outstanding running game, along with a good/great defense. All favre needs to do is convert the 3rd and 3+’s and keep the defense honest without turning the ball over. In that case, he is the best guy for the job because he has 18 years of experience with the offense and reading defenses. IF the vikes get to the playoffs or beyond, his efforts will certainly of contributed to it, but by no means accounted for it entirely, don’t forget that this is a team sport.

  34. Bender#3 says: Sep 20, 2009 10:15 PM

And you are the genius Majik Man. I have been a fan all of my life unless I disagree. so where were you in the good years before Brett. Did you support them then or only after the started winning? So did you support them when Dickey was there or did you disagree then too. So six years of holding a team I will or wont come back and it is all good. Yep, your logic is overwhelming and knowledge is dumbfounding. Let see , you now have a Packer jersey, a Jets jersey and a Vikings jersey. But I am a Packer fan, I swear. You are either a fan of the Pack or you are not, you choose not. The wagons full. Bye-Bye

  35. Majik Man says: Sep 20, 2009 11:02 PM

I barely remember Dickey, but I was a fan through the Lindy Infante era, and Majik is one of my favorite players ever. I was a fan at 4-12, or 12-4. You’re right, I do have a Packers, Jets, and Vikes jersey. I also have a Falcons and Ole Miss jersey with a 4 on them as well.
I think it’s great, though, that you bend my words in order to try to support your bone headed logic. I’m sorry that I have a problem with treating the man responsible for making Green Bay relevant like complete dirt. Brett was great when in GB, but he’s gone now, so you hate him? So you hate Holmgren too, right? And I guess that you hate Lombardi too, seeing as how he abandoned the Packers and went to Washington.
Like I said, I don’t have the ability to cheer for a team that has a GM who doesn’t care about the fans. He would rather go 6-10 than swallow a little pride and take a small hit to his massive ego. But once he is gone, and Green Bay has a GM more interested in winning than he is in settling his own personal vendettas, I will no longer face my moral dilemma, and be able to cheer for my team. I’m sorry if it angers you that I am able to think for myself and form my own opinions. I just don’t have the ability to be a blind faith, never questioning fan, mainly because, unlike you, ignorance is not one of my main character traits.

to all the packer fans calling viking fans hypocrites for calling favre the best qb in the league now and used to call him washed up….i for one do not call him even close to the best in the league. he is simply the best qb on the vikings roster. we dont need a drew brees when we have the best rb in the league. we just need a qb that can read a defense. and yeah our coach cant draft for shit or judge qb talent so he went after the obvious choice to save his ass. i like aaron rodgers but i am not sure he quite has “it” yet. so as it stands we have the best record in the division and your packers don’t. oh and the “packer” it is gonna take for us is probably packing up his VIKING game jersey for today to send to canton to go with his green and yellow stuff since he broke another record today!!

  39. Bender#3 says: Sep 21, 2009 1:39 AM

Wow, talk about egos, you are sure full of yourself. Anyway, I believe you are bending my words. If you had any comprehension, you would understand what I wrote earlier but that contradicts your point so why understand it. But with my lack of knowledge of the game I realize that one is not more important than the team. Like Ron Wolf, Mike Holmgrem, Reggie White. Sterling Sharpe, Robert Brookes, Antonio Freeman and others along with Favre made this team relevant then. They still are as most analyst pick them to go to the playoffs even the SB. But no, you are right, one man makes the team and he nor the team can move on. You have the blind faith in one guy will lead us to the promise land where I believe it will be the team. But there is my bone head logic. Your right I am ignorant and you are the genius. Actually the term for you is fair weather fan. When they’re good, you like them. When they’re bad, everyone is messed up. So why didn’t you leave with Majik as he left too. Oh wait, the Pack get better. Wagons full.

  40. Chickenfoot says: Sep 21, 2009 9:06 AM

The Pack is a blown coverage away from being 0-2. The offensive line is a shambles. The vaunted 3-4 is giving up an average of 335 ypg. Somehow, the looming Oct.5th game is losing it’s cachet.
Where is Hydra? Thought they weren’t going to be tested until after the bye? Probably won’t see that moron until next week.

  41. Majik Man says: Sep 21, 2009 9:16 AM

Good work with the wagons’ full line again, it sounds more clever each time you say it. Why bother to come up with something new? As for the rest of the garbage you just spewed, it made absolutely no sense, well, except for the lines you stole from me. And you failed to answer whether you hated Holmgren and Lombardi. They both left, and went to another team, so by your logic, you should hate them. Especially since Favre was forced out, and Holmgren and Lombardi left on their own free will.
I’m fully aware that it takes a team to be successful. My point was that without Favre, that Super Bowl team would have floundered around with 9-7 and 10-6 records. But the 13-3 to 6-10 does speak volumes to the difference that one man makes.
Your fair weather argument holds absolutely no water, seeing as how I’ve previously explained to you that I was a fan when they suffered through the Infante era, and Thompson’s first year at the helm with that 4-12 season. In fact, I stopped cheering for the Packers immediately following their 13-3, NFC Championship season, as soon as your hero Ted Thompson pushed the greatest Packer in history out the door. Really shoots holes in your theory there champ.

  42. packers4life says: Sep 21, 2009 11:58 AM

Haha. Favre is not the greatest Packer in history. Top 5? for sure but there are several others that were just as good if not better then Favre. There is Bart Starr, the “Golden Boy” Paul Hornung, Vince Lombardi, Curly Lambeau, Ray Nitschke, etc.

  43. Majik Man says: Sep 21, 2009 12:25 PM

How many MVP awards and all time records do Starr, Hornung, Nitschke have? And by greatest Packer, I was referring to players. Otherwise, it would be Lombardi hands down. But on the field, none of the other greats accomplished what Favre has.

  44. Bender#3 says: Sep 21, 2009 3:33 PM

Yep, more sense. Here I will lay it out for you. I don’t know how had #4 for Ole Miss as Brett played for Souther Miss. great football Knowledge. No need to explain whether I hate someone or not as you stated I said that not me. Like I said, go back read my comments and comprehend what is written. Then you want the Pack to take a guy back after he retires and after they go down ther before the draft to ask him if he is serious and he says yes. They do the draft and then he wants to come back after they had moved on. Unbelieviable. Your football intelligence is startling. I piut it to you this way, let’s assume you have a job. For the next two weeks tell everyone you are not sure you want to do it anymore. You won’t have the medias help to drive this so you are kind of on your own. Then quit. Three months later, go back and tell them you want your exact same job back. Let us know how that works out for you. I realize it was a battle of wills between the two but the team had moved on. I thought TT should have just let him go. It made no difference to me. Even Favre has stated he was wrong in the issue, but not you. You talk team and support player. Let’s not forget how fast the Jets turned on him and all the Vikes aren’t happy to see him either. But your a one man man. Like I said, keep following Favre around and buying jerseys. I don’t think TT will be gone after this yr so you may be looking for a new team next yr. Whenever Favre decides to truly retire and you come looking, keep on walking. You can claim nothing holds all you want but the truth is what it is. I am sure you will come back here and rebute trying to prove your knowledge and dedication all you want. Others are seeing your holes as well. You can be last saying you are a Packer Backer but we all know the truth. Time for yopur rebuttal full of name callings and false facts. As stated before, WAGON IS FULL

  45. Majik Man says: Sep 21, 2009 4:05 PM

You got me on the college thing, small mental lapse there. I admit it. It was bound to rub off on me after reading such nonsense. As for the rest of your post, well, that’s the most words I’ve ever seen put together in which absolutely nothing of value was said. You keep telling me to go back and “comprehend” your previous drivel, but it’s impossible to sort through the half thoughts and ludicrous rants.
Yes, I expected them to take him back. A GM’s job is to field the best team possible. All Favre wanted was a chance to compete for the starting job. It seems to me that in the interest of winning, you let a guy with Favre’s resume compete.
As for the hatred of Holmgren and Lombardi, I’m making an educated assumption based on your disdain towards Favre because of similar circumstances. Since you don’t dispute it, I will assume I am correct. I see you’ve quit clinging to your ridiculous fair weather fan routine that I disproved, so now it’s time for you to point out all of my so called false facts. You’ve been mentioning these for 3 posts, but other than the Ole Miss gaffe, you have failed to point any out. I can’t wait, hopefully I get the ultra clever “Wagons Full” one more time.

  46. packers4life says: Sep 21, 2009 6:14 PM

    Majik Man,
It is true that Hornung and Nitschke do not match up to Favre but Starr clearly does. In fact, I take Starr over Favre when it comes to best QB in Packer history
Why I think that is because Starr led us to 5 championships, the only QB to ever do so. He also won the MVP award in 1966 and was Super Bowl MVP in both Super Bowl I & II.

  47. packers4life says: Sep 21, 2009 6:25 PM

“Yes, I expected them to take him back. A GM’s job is to field the best team possible. All Favre wanted was a chance to compete for the starting job. It seems to me that in the interest of winning, you let a guy with Favre’s resume compete.”
Last time I checked, Favre retired and was offered to unretire and return to the team as the starting QB but declined it and stay retired. It wasn’t until they gave the job to Aaron Rodgers in which Favre changed his mind…again.
I for one are happy we got rid of Favre. It was time to move on even if he had a excellent 2007 season and give Aaron Rodgers a chance. After all, that was why he was drafted. So that he could replace Favre whenever he decided to call it quits.
One thing is clear though is that if you decide to cheer on Favre, that means you are cheering on the Vikings which therefore doesn’t make you a Packer fan no matter what you say because no Packer fan will ever cheer on the Vikings.

I can see your argument on Starr, he also is one of the greatest. It’s really a matter of personal opinion between the 2. My pick would be Favre, yours is Starr, either one is a pretty good choice.
Yes Favre did retire and then change his mind late. But when he wanted to return, he was more than willing to try to earn the starting job back.
And I’m willing to bet that, at one point and time, you have cheered on the Vikes, in order to beat a team to improve Green Bay’s playoff chances. So don’t day it can’t be done, when you yourself have done it, regardless of circumstances. I now cheer for Favre and hope for the Packers to lose, because I believe the Packers losing now will be beneficial in the long run, seeing as how another 6-10 should seal the fate of the idiot twins MM and TT. Word on the street is Ron Wolfe bought a house in Green Bay, and Holmgren finds himself unemployed as well….
