The Redskins’ ugly 9-7 win over the lifeless St. Louis Rams on Sunday comes with a price.
Ryan O’Halloran of the Washington Times reports that starting guard Randy Thomas, a fixture since jumping the D.C. as part of the Jets exodus in 2003, could be lost for the season.
Per O’Halloran, teammates are bracing to lose Thomas for the season, based on things Thomas has said. It’s feared that Thomas has a torn triceps, the same injury that forced the Chargers to shut down nose tackle Jamal Williams after only one game.
O’Halloran also reports that the team is unlikely to pursue veteran guard Pete Kendall.
you make it sound like Randy Thomas has passed away.
Randy Thomas might be on IR would be more appropriate
This is early for the Sunburns aging offensive line to begin to fall apart. I wouldn’t have expected something like this before week six. The critical question is how long will Chris Samuels last this year.
I can see it now………..lil danny snyder is in his high chair kicking his lil feet throwing a temper tantrum !!!!
Well … at some point, Chad Rinehart was going to have to start to earn his paycheck. Montgomery may get the nod, but Rinehart will likely get dressed. Thomas had been slowing down, but it’s still a big loss for a Skins team that needs the OL to excel for the offense to have a rhythm.
This is why the Redskins are idiots for not drafting offensive linemen. They need a GM.
Looks like PFT is not going to take the high-road as some of us may have thought. Just a few posts ago, we were given a status check on the changing of the name (lawsuit). Obviously, PFT has chosen a side.
If the native americans win, what will we start calling the scalpers out in the parking lot?
