Rosenfels is Vikings 3rd QB again

For the second straight week, Sage Rosenfels will spend Sunday in mothballs.

The Vikings quarterback, acquired in the offseason to compete with Tarvaris Jackson for the starting job, will again watch as Brett Favre gets his checkdown on against the Detroit Lions.

Among the inactives for the Vikes, wide receivers Jaymar Johnson and Greg Lewis and defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy.

Does he still get paid his full contract?
If so, I don’t think it matters. I still believe the Vikings are trying to shop T-Jax. Although I would hate to see T-Jax go, he would fit right in with the Carolina Panthers! He just won’t develop enough with Chilly as a head coach. In Carolina he could easily become a great or even an elite QB.
