Justin Tuck wants to “punish” Flozell

Nearly a decade ago, Cowboys tackle Flozell Adams described as “ludicrous” a fine of only $7,500 that was imposed on then-Vikings defensive end Duane Clemons for punching Adams in the crotch.

Applying that same standard to Adams, he should be fined a lot more than $7,500 for his blatant trip of Giants defensive end Justin Tuck.

In the first half of Sunday night’s inaugural game at the North Texas Football Cathedral, Adams threw out a padded tree trunk with a shoe at the bottom of it to stop Tuck, who tripped, fell, hurt his shoulder, left the game, and didn’t return.

I think it was bush league,” Tuck said after the game, per Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News. “He did it a few times in this game. Unfortunately he got called once. . . . I’d like to have had the rest of the game to punish him for it but that didn’t happen. As far as it is for me, it’s over with.”

Tuck will have all of their next game -- on December 6 in New York -- to punish Adams.

Maybe Tuck will also punch Adams in the crotch.
