Troy Williamson out for the year

For Week One, receiver Troy Williamson -- one of the many first-round busts from the 2005 draft -- surprisingly earned a starting job.

For Week Two, Williamson was back on the bench. And when he got a chance to play, he suffered a season-ending injury.

Per a league source, Williamson is expected to miss the rest of the season with an arm injury. Initially, Williamson was described as probable to return to Sunday’s home loss to the Cardinals, despite being in obvious pain.

Williamson had three catches for 34 yards in two 2009 games. He was traded to Jacksonville in 2008 after three disappointing ball-bouncing-off-the-hands-or-helmet seasons in Minnesota.
