Well he did throw 11TD’s and only 3INT’s during his stint as Seattle’s starter last year. I suppose that might have something to do with it.

Crying about injuries in the NFL is bush league. The Seahawks organization isn’t bush league, but Jim Mora is. I hope Hasseback doesn’t play, but to hear this drivel from Mora is pathetic.

Hasslebeck has become a walking infirmary that the last few years and Wallace isn’t even backup material. Seattle must not be too keen on playoff football, which is kinduva waste since they have a pretty decent squad.

Playing with a cracked rib is tough but will seem mighty stupid the first time Anderson and Ogunleye do a pile on after a sack.

Alex Brown has had decent pass rushes as well.
Just get Tommie Harris to join that pile up and Matty will head to the sidelines.
With Bears pass rush improving after two decent games I would pick a different team to return against.

The implication being that if they go with Seneca Wallace then they’re trying to LOSE.
In this case, either way, Bears benefit from poor Seattle’s injury epidemic.
I like the Seahawks, but they must’ve pissed off a gypsy or something for all the injuries/bad luck they’ve had the past two years.

So, basically, Mora already has his “why I shouldn’t be fired” presentation prepared…
Because in Florio’s work, anytime you talk about injuries or something similair, its excuses for present or for future failure. Is there any doubt that Florio was a lawyer for most of his professional life and has not played a down in the NFL or possibly college, high school or pee-wee?

You know, if a team has a bunch of injuries year after year, you have to start to wonder what is going on. Some teams don’t have a lot of injuries any year (even if they aren’t fudging the report), other teams have numerous season ending or at least missing several games injuries every year. At some point that stops being an excuse for not winning and is a sign of a deeper problem.
