Sanchez added to injury report

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was reportedly “fussing” over his knee at practice Thursday, according to the

New York Daily News.

And considering recent events, the Jets weren’t about to leave him off the injury report.

“Make sure he’s on that list,” Rex Ryan told reporters with a laugh. “I don’t mean anything by that. It’s just a little thing, so we’re going to put him on the list.”
The Jets are calling the issue a a “little tendinitis.” There is no question Sanchez will play Sunday, but cornerback Lito Sheppard’s status is much more up in the air.

The team is also expected to be without cornerback Donald Strikland, so the Titans could find a vulnerable secondary waiting for them in New York if Sheppard is sidelined by his injured quad.

Sanchez was one of eleven Jets listed on the injury report who were full participants in practice.
