The surprise story of the 2008 Saints is finding his encore a lot more difficult.
Starting wide receiver Lance Moore expects to miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury after missing nearly the entire offseason following shoulder surgery.
Drew Brees and Sean Payton’s offense is remarkable because it seems to create massive yardage for whoever they put in the lineup. Devery Henderson, Jeremy Shockey, and even David Thomas have helped fill Moore’s shoes this year, while Mike Bell has stepped up at running back.
Bell is expected to miss this week’s game too, and probably a few more, although it’s uncertain what the Saints will do at running back. Our guess: they likely rotate between Reggie Bush, Lynell Hamilton, and a rehabbing Pierre Thomas.
If the last few weeks (or years for that matter), it usually doesn’t matter who the Saints put out there. They should create plenty of yardage in Buffalo with Brees leading the way.

There goes my fantasy team for the week.
The Saints are still favorites to win the game, but the Bills have 5 keys to winning Sunday.

Go Bills!
To pick up or not pick up Devery Henderson… That tis the question. Hmmmmmmmmm.
The Saints may be the only team right now capable of losing a 1000 yard/10 TD receiver and not miss a beat. Henderson is good for a big play here and there, and Meachem could really start to take advantage of his opportunities.
If they had any sense, they’d move Bush to the slot full time and use him in the Wes Welker role.
Wes must be proud. It’s not “the slot” anymore. It’s “The Wes Welker Role.”
Greg-
It’s nice to see you have taken Florio’s stand about not needing to proof read before posting stories. Hard to encore the season you are playing in.
All things considered you are still 1000% more professional and far less biased than your new “boss”. But you just lack his flare for the overly dramatic. Throw in a few insults against Favre and you are on your way.
The surprise story of the 2008 season you mean, Gregg.
Yeah, his absence has been wreaking havoc with my Fantasy teams as well. The upside to keeping him on the roster is a good one, but if he never plays…..

I’m gambling on him. He seems like a boom/bust player. They are playing Buffalo too.
Drew vs. the 31st ranked pass D. This has ass raping writen all over it…
Pick up Henderson. He will get 5 catches for 86 yards and 2 TD’s.
Go Bills…
Reggie should live in the slot until Lance gets back.
